From the West and Fife:
Make for the Barnton Junction on the A90 and follow the signs for 'Leith'.
Travel along Queensferry Road where you will find a long continuous wall on the left. Where the wall ends turn left into Quality Street heading for Davidsons Mains.
At a small roundabout you turn right into Main Street. Carry straight along passing over an old narrow railway bridge and go down heading east into Ferry Road.
After the new Red Row housing development but before the red blaize pitch you turn left into Muirhouse Green. At the end of Muirhouse Green turn left into Muirhouse Park and the Millennium Centre is located nearby.
From the City Centre and the East:
Make for the Crewe Toll Roundabout on the A902 Ferry Road and continue on the B9085 Ferry Round heading for Davidsons Mains. After you pass the new school on the right at Craigroyston and after the red blaize pitch turn right into Muirhouse Green and follow the same instructions as outlined above.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
